ABOUT P S OPTICAL
P S Optical has been serving the community since 1983. We enjoyed nearly 20 years at the original location on Franklin Avenue. In 2003 we moved to our present facility at 303 Franklin Avenue and have expanded our services to further meet the needs of our loyal patrons. It's a rewarding and pleasurable experience when children who have been fit with eyewear, during the 1980's, are now bringing their children in for quality eye care, eye exams, and expert eyewear fittings. High fashion designer eyewear along with very fashionable generic eyeglass frames are available at competitive pricing. EYE EXAMS
Eye exams are performed by independent Dr. Alisa Friedman, O.D.. Dr. Friedman teamed up with PS Optical and has been a welcome addition to the practice. She is a licensed optometrist in the states of New Jersey and New York. Patient response to Dr. Friedman has been overwhelmingly positive. She is thorough and understanding of each individual's needs.
CONTACT LENSES
Dr. Friedman is an expert in difficult as well as basic contact lens fittings. Her extensive training has allowed her to become proficient in corneal measuring and determining the proper fit of contact lenses to maintain corneal integrity. We offer a large variety of all major brand contact lenses and specialize in selecting the proper contact lens for you.
INSURANCE PLANS
Eye Med, VSP, and Davis Vision are now accepted. When we first opened our doors in 1983, insurance plans did not play a large part in the purchase of eyewear. We realize that times have changed and are presently and continuing to add insurance plans to our list. Please call 973-661-1015 to inquire about your plan.
